'Partition 1947' first weekend / day 3 box office collection: Huma Qureshi and Manish Dayal film flop!

The latest  Bollywood romantic drama ‘Partition 1947’ is based on nationalism. The flick is the Hindi version of the English film  ‘Viceroy House.’ The Hindi version ‘Partition 1947’ and original English film ‘Vicetroy House’ both films released on the same day at the box office. The film is based on the Pakistan and India split-up. The film featuring Manish Dayal and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles. The film is directed by Gurinder Chadha and Produced by N/A. The flick has been released on 18th August, Friday.

‘Partition 1947’ released opposite two others movies — Ayushmann Khurrana’s romantic comedy film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and Hollywood horror flick ‘Annabelle 2.’

‘Partition 1947’ received extremely slow opening at the box office, the film grossed the amount Rs. 0.11 crores on the first day. The flick displays the story of India and Pakistan partition happened in 1947. The film is getting cold scores, as compared to two other films ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Annabelle: Creation’ also known as ‘Annabelle 2’.

‘Partition 1947’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ both films are in competition with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ which is doing marvelous business in its second week at the box office. TEPK will definitely affect the two others flick at the box office.

Huma Qureshi starrer Hindi version of Viceroy House — Partition 1947’s theatrical journey is expected to over soon, the film is expected to remove from the multiplexes after the first week. The film failed to collect good bucks at the box office.

The film flops at the box office, the film is running with Ayushman Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkumar Rao starrer romantic comedy film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and Hollywood horror film ‘Annabelle: Creation.’
