'Ribbon' 2nd Day Box Office Collection

Kalki Koechlin’s latest drama film ‘Ribbon’ received mixed reviews from the film critics and also getting a mix response from the audience. The film started slowly at the box office but managing to do the quite decent business, the film starring Sumeet Vyas and Kalki Koechlin in the lead roles, the film also featuring Hitesh Malhan in the prominent role.

The film is expected to show some growth during the weekend. Kalki Koechlin and Sumeet Vyas starrer drama film Ribbon was released on November 3, Friday, the film was released opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s thriller film ‘Ittefaq’ and social-political film ‘Humein Haq Chahiye Haq Se.’

‘Ribbon’ 1st & 2nd Box Office Collection:

Kalki Koechlin starrer Ribbon is generating steady business, the film failed to create pull enough crowd inside the theater. The film is running with low occupancy in the theaters. The film is expected to gain little momentum during the first weekend.

Ribbon received slow opening at the box office. As per an estimate, the film opened up with around Rs. 2 crores, the film is expected to do better box office business during the weekend. The film could earn as much as Rs. 3.5 crores on the second day, Saturday.

Koechlin’s last film ‘Jia Aur Jia’ which was released recently gets flops at the box office, the actress shared the screen with very bold Richa Chadha, the film received mixed to negative reviews from the film critics along.

Ribbon is a directorial debutant film of Rakhee Sandilya and produced by Prakash Mondal and Swathi Mondal, the film is made under the production banner of Red Cart Films. The film shows the struggle of a couple who becomes new parents and indulge in the never-ending demand of the baby and its effect on their career. The film address the issue urban couple of Mumbai face.
