Box Office: Will 'Thor: Ragnarok' make it $100M+ domestic opening?

Marvel Studios’ latest Hollywood superhero film ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ which is based on the Marvel Comics character Thor has finally hit the theaters today as the film was scheduled to release to on November 3, Friday.

The film is a sequel to 2011’s Thor and Thor: The Dark World (2013). In addition, the film is the seventeenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The superhero film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Taika Waititi directorial film starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire which was released in 2013 had set the November opening weekend record of $158 and Marvel’s latest film is not expected to break that record. However, the film is supposed to receive a good opening at the box office. Thor: Ragnarok is receiving good reviews from all over the world, the film is also supposed to generate the good earning.

The film has been released in total 4,080 theaters, the film carried the strong rating on Metacritic, 73. Thor: Ragnarok is expected to receive a good opening at the box office as there is good craze for the movie among the audience. According to the Hollywood industry’s expectations, the film is supposed to open up with as much as $120 million.
