Airtel has announced a new prepaid recharge pack of Rs 93 to beat Jio Rs 98 pack, making yet another retaliation in its ongoing battle with the newbie telecom operator, Reliance Jio. In the Airtel’s new Rs 93 prepaid recharge pack, the users will get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 100 SMSes per day (both local and STD), and 1GB 3G/4G mobile data with a validity period of 10 days.
As mentioned above, the Rs 93 prepaid plan offered by Airtel is launched keeping in mind the Jio Rs 98 pack that offers the Jio users unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 140 SMSes and 2.1GB 4G mobile data, with a daily cap of 0.15GB and is valid for a period of 14 days. The High Speed data speed gets reduced to 64Kbps after the daily and monthly limit of the users gets exhausted.
Besides this, the Indian telecom operator Bharti Airtel had also introduced a new prepaid pack of Rs 199 that offers the users unlimited calls, 100 SMSes each day and 1GB mobile data each day for a period of 28 days. This pack is in direct competition to Jio’s new Happy New Year 2018 pack that is also priced at Rs 199 and offers 1.2GB 4G data each day for a period of 28 days.
Moreover, Airtel is also offering other prepaid packs to the users that offer similar call and data benefits. For example, the Airtel Rs 349 prepaid plan offers unlimited calls, 2GB mobile data per day and 100 SMSes per day with a validity period of 28 days. Another pack priced at Rs 399, (again somewhat similar to Jio), offers unlimited calls, 1GB mobile data each day and 100 SMSes daily with an added validity of 56 days.
