Xiaomi has launched the Rose Gold variant of its Redmi 5A smartphone in India. The Chinese company had initially debuted the model in two primary colors, i.e., Dark Grey and Gold options in November 2017. As noted by Gadgets 360, the handset will be available for purchase for the first time at 12 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 1 on Xiaomi’s official website and e-commerce platform Flipkart. It makes sense for the firm to launch a new color variant for Redmi 5A because Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it would make up a good reason for buyers. The company’s other line-up Mi A1 smartphone is also available in the Rose Gold color option.
The company made the news official through their Twitter account. “I’m beautiful. I’m powerful. I’m everyone’s choice. Guess who am I? Watch this space tomorrow,” the tweet read. There will be two variants of the smartphone available for purchase, i.e., 2GB and 3GB of RAM at Rs 4,999 and Rs 6,999. We’ve reached out to Xiaomi for confirmation on when the new Rose Gold color variant of the Redmi 5A will be made available via offline channels, including Mi Home stores and Big Bazaar.
